CCP Announces Price Increase on Powder Resins Products
KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 2, 2010 – Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP)
announces a $0.07-$0.10 per pound price increase, depending on grade, for all Reafree®
Powder Coatings Resin materials. New prices are effective for orders shipped on, or after
March 22, 2010 (or as contracts allow).
According to Ken Moran, Vice President of CCP’s Coatings Division, “this price change
is necessary due to the significant and ongoing cost escalation of raw materials used in
the production of powder resins which we are no longer able to absorb”.
Quality products and superior customer service have made Cook Composites and
Polymers (CCP) a leader in the development and production of polyester powder resins.
Also, CCP is the world’s largest producer of polyester gel coats and with affiliated
companies, the second largest producer of coatings resins and unsaturated polyester
resins.
Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., CCP has manufacturing facilities throughout the
United States, Canada and Mexico. CCP affiliate companies include TOTAL, Cray
Valley, Sartomer, Reacciones Quimicas, Peninsula Polymers and Progress Plastics
among others.
