CCP Announces Prices Increase for all Composites Related Materials
KANSAS CITY, Mo., February, 2010 - Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP)
announces a $.05 per pound price increase for all gel coats, unsaturated polyester and
vinyl ester resins as well as all cleaners materials. New pricing is effective for all
shipments on or after March 7th, 2010.
This price increase will be implemented as a result of continued raw material cost
escalation of the chemical feedstock and energy associated with the manufacture of
unsaturated polyester based products as well as other specialty chemicals. CCP regrets
this situation but unfortunately cannot absorb these continued advances.
Quality products and superior customer service has made Cook Composites and
Polymers (CCP) an international leader in the production and distribution of polyester gel
coats, unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins. CCP is the world's largest producer of
polyester gel coats, and with affiliate companies, the second largest producer of coatings
resins and unsaturated polyester resins. In addition, the CCP distributor network is North
America's largest for composites and cast polymers.
Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, CCP has manufacturing facilities throughout
the United States, Canada and Mexico. CCP affiliate companies include TOTAL, Cray
Valley, Sartomer, Reacciones Quimicas, Peninsula Polymers and Progress Plastics
among others.
