CCP manufactures an extensive line of composites polyester resins to serve a variety of markets. CCP's resin line is defined in four categories: Laminating, Marble Casting, Closed Molding, and Specialty Products.

  • Laminating Resins—include those formulated for use in Open Contact Molding Processes (spray up or hand lay up)
  • Marble & Casting Resins—include those formulated for use in Cast Polymer, generally marble, onyx, densified and casting resin
  • Closed Molding Resins—include those formulated for use in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) Processes, Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) and Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), and Pultrusion Resins
  • Tooling and Mold Making Resins for the Composites Industry

These product lines represent a wide range of resins using a variety of chemistries including:

  • Isophthalic (Iso)
  • Orthophthalic (Ortho)
  • Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD)
  • Specialty

S.O.P. (Simplified Ordering System) Resins

CCP has also developed the industry's first systematic coding and ordering system for laminating resins and casting resins: S.O.P. (Simplified Ordering System).

The S.O.P. resins represent more than just a coding or ordering system; they constitute a line of newly formulated resins for a wide variety of laminating and casting applications.

There are five types of laminating resins within the S.O.P. product line:

  • LGP-General Purpose Resin
  • LHP - High Performance Laminating Resin
  • LLP-Low Profile Laminating Resin
  • LSP-Standard Product Laminating Resin

Four types of casting resins have been codified for S.O.P. These are:

  • CM-Casting Marble Resin
  • CS-Swing Casting Resin
  • CD-Cast Densified Resin
  • CO-Casting Onyx

S.O.P. resins are formulated to be MACT compliant and offer high physical and mechanical properties.

For more information consult CCP's S.O.P. technical data sheets.
